Go to the Pinellas Co Tax Site and see if the property is located in an unincorporated area of the county.

Home is NOT located in an unincorporated area of Pinellas Co- Now the regulation will fall the each of the cities that the home is located in. Each individual city has a different set of regulations on short term rentals.  Pinellas County Realtor Organization is one resource you can use to check your area.

Home IS located in an unincorporated area of Pinellas County- you can rent your home as a short term rental.  Click here for guidelines on all approved short term rentals.

If home is located in a neighborhood or building with an HOA or COA, you need to confirm any bylaws or guidelines regarding leases and make sure to follow to avoid complaints or issues.
